Firesteed Pinot Noir, Oregon, 2006

Alc. 12.5% by vol. A bright, easy to drink version of the classic Burgundian grape, Firesteed Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied red wine with exuberant cherry and berry fruit flavors and aromas. In the ancient world, fire was regarded as one of the four essential elements as well as a symbol for passion. The horse was emblematic of strength tempered by grace, and poets described a particularly swift animal as having hooves of flame. Firesteed Cellars is named to celebrate the zest and delight provided to a meal by a delicious wine.
